Yesterday was an awful day. My Dad is critically ill in hospital. He’s deteriorated a lot and I was sure that he wasn’t going to make it. I kept looking at the heart rate monitor (it was beeping an alarm of sorts) and every time his heart rate dropped I panicked. The worst part of it, he’s been very ill for a few days now, and his wife only calls my sister on Thursday to ask if we could ‘swing by’ and take him for a blood test????? I wasn’t worried at first because she sounds so sleepy and relaxed but upon further digging we came to the truth, he’s dying. I told her to call an ambulance because it would take us an hour to ‘swing by’. She did and he was rushed to Olivedale. Thank God for that.
I’ll resume the 30 days to truth thing as soon as things are looking better. It’s hard to be light hearted when things are looking grim.
That’s all.
Its just shocking!
Hang in there Elize. Wish I lived closer so I could give you a huge hug. Please keep us up-dated. Much love

OMG! I’m so sorry Elize! Let me know if there is anything we can do. We’ve just come from Olivedale and we are close by!
